This case creates two new N2-specific HV API's: NIAGARA2_GET_PERFREG 0x104 NIAGARA2_SET_PERFREG 0x105 The new APIs are part of a new Niagara2 CPU API group, 0x202. The APIs will be version 1.0 of the new group. (See section 3.2 of the spec.) Section 3 of the spec defines the interface, which includes the "perfreg" register number values 0 - 8 which are used as arguments to the APIs. The new APIs will be added to the trap registry upon case approval. All interfaces are classified as evolving.
