Two questions, though: If the cpu node has a new RNG exec-unit, how will you know WHICH RNG that is? The CPU nodes in the guest MDs are virtual. In the HV MD, they're physical. Granted, the HV MD doesn't number or name the RNGs, so we associate them based on the chip# portion of each strands' id. If all of the vCPUs are 1-1 w.r.t. stands, than this isn't a problem. If there isn't a 1-1 correlation, I don't see how you can accurately group RNGs together to reconstruct the original HV MD configuration. Also, what happens on a reboot when the PRI has been changed after a reconfiguration of the primary domain's resources?
